#PlayYourPart and become a volunteer

13th May 2021

To coincide with the much-anticipated re-opening of The Princess Theatre & Arts Centre on 7th June, the Theatre are calling on local members of the public to “Play Your Part” and help support the Theatre by joining its team of event volunteers.

The brilliant team of volunteers are integral members of The Princess’ front of house staff, with all the venue’s ushers, box office and maintenance staff teams are made up entirely from volunteers. These passionate members of the public provide the excellent customer service for which the venue is famed for and are truly the heart of the venue. The venue could not operate without this support.

DO YOU HAVE…?
• An interest in theatre, live music, and the arts?
• Enthusiasm for customer service?
• A friendly and polite manner?
• A desire to support your local community?
If yes, then you could be the perfect fit to join the Princess’ team.

Volunteers are required to commit to working at least two shifts per calendar month and are free to choose their own shifts. Volunteers will have a chance to work on any of our upcoming events from the exciting new programme of shows.

There are a wide range of reasons that our volunteers have chosen to give up their valuable time to support the venue, from gaining invaluable knowledge and experience of working in the arts sector, or the opportunity to make new friends and take an active part in the local community, to wanting to develop new skills and improve their future employment opportunities.

This is an ongoing opportunity for volunteers interested in being a part of their local community theatre. If you are interested in working with the Princess Theatre & Arts Centre please contact us via [email protected] to ask for more details or download and complete our volunteer form via http://www.www.theprincesstheatre.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/BLANK-Volunteer-Details-Form.docx
