The natural world can inspire our epic scenes and challenge our characters, the best and worst of nature can form the beating heart of novels and poems.
This workshop will explore our relationship with the natural world. We will look at examples of nature writing in fiction and memoir and consider how depictions of wildlife, landscape and weather can create mood.
Author Elizabeth Delo will guide you through exercises to describe the environment around you, considering the challenges of a changing world. Everyone welcome, no previous writing experience needed.
