Stephen Timmins
Brought up on an eclectic diet of historical romance and crime novels Stephen had always wanted to write thrillers and mysteries.
Diverted after graduation into the media rat race, it was many years before he started to feel that he had both the experience and the slowly developing ability to write full time.
Six novels later he is proud to have joined Diamond Books growing slate of authors with The Fortieth Step, Volumes One, Two and Three – his 21st century update of John Buchan’s Richard Hannay novels.
Jeff Dowson
Jeff’s three act career in arts and entertainment began as a theatre director and playwright.
This morphed into work with regional Arts Associations, story writing and associated bits of journalism, before his migration to television and drama documentaries.
And 2014 saw the third act open as a crime novelist, with his Jack Shepherd thriller series which was soon followed by another series and a new hero, Ed Grover.
Annie Ainsley
A teacher, a musician, and now a writer, Annie is an avid reader of crime thrillers, with a real understanding of the genre.
Favourites include Lindsay Davis’ detective Falco series, set in ancient Rome, and the Cormoran Strike novels from Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling).
She is Diamond Crime’s go to reader for witty and honest assessment of the company’s publishing portfolio.
