Bestselling author and lifelong naturalist Stephen Moss presents a tribute to the much-loved birder, TV presenter and comic genius Bill Oddie, showing extracts from the many television programmes they made together, including Birding with Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie Goes Wild and of course Springwatch.
Stephen Moss is one of Britain’s leading nature writers and broadcasters. He was the original producer of Birding with Bill Oddie and the BAFTA award-winning Spring Watch, while his bestselling books include a series of ‘bird biographies’, and Ten Birds that Changed the World, shortlisted for the prestigious Wainwright Prize for Nature Writing. After teaching an MA in Nature and Travel Writing at Bath Spa University, he is now a Visiting Research Fellow there, and a Special Visiting Professor at the University of Nottingham. He currently works as the Global Consultant for Birdfy, who make bird feeder cameras and other related products. A lifelong naturalist, Stephen has travelled to all seven of the world’s continents to watch, film and write about wildlife.
