Have you seen The Nornen?
The shipwreck at Berrow?
Have you heard the stories?
The Nornen Project is producing “All Hands!”, a new show about… well, The Nornen, the shipwreck off Berrow Beach. Alongside the show, we’re running a whole host of Nornen-inspired workshops to get your imaginations running wild.
Calling all young people aged 8 to 21!
Join Mind49 to learn how to make a street art mural from stencil to wall and have a go at making your own Nornen-inspired designs. We will be showcasing artwork around our specially constructed stage for All Hands! in August, so come and leave your mark.
No experience necessary. These sessions are open to children and young people aged 8 to 21. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Mind49 is a street artist, specialising in brush and spray painted murals often fusing realism and graffiti elements. He has been painting and exhibiting at art festivals and galleries around the UK for a number of years and has big ambitions to take his art around the world.
No experience necessary, just a sense of curiosity and a splash of imagination. You are welcome to join us for either or both of the sessions.
Thanks to our funders, we are able to offer support with transport, British Sign Language Interpreters, food and more for our activities. Please contact [email protected] to discuss anything that you need to be able to take part.
