Rod Davies and Colin Hanton were core members of the Quarrymen, a skiffle band formed by John Lennon in 1956; a band that would see three of the world’s most famous musicians play together for the first time. The other musicians being Paul McCartney and George Harrison who, alongside Lennon (and later Ringo Starr), would go on to form the biggest band the world has seen, The Beatles. Come and hear Rod and Colin recount memories and anecdotes from an important time in the UK’s history, when skiffle topped the charts and heralded a musical revolution.
