The Princess annually becomes home to the festival of the arts and 2022 is their first year back since the pandemic struck!
A full weeks worth of drama and dance performances by local talented competitors.
Tickets for day classes are available on the door.
Saturday 12th March group tickets go on sale at 9am Monday 7th March at £3.
The Festival began in 1948 at Highbridge Town Hall. It has grown from an afternoon of performances to a large event held over 13 days in three different venues with over 2400 performances in Speech & Drama, Dance and Music. Competitors are adjudicated by professional adjudicators, who are recognised by The Federation, and marks are awarded using nationally recognised standards.
We welcome competitors of all ages and abilities to take part in a wide variety of classes; from tiny tots to octogenarians, everyone is encouraged to share their talents, whether they wish to recite a poem, act in a play, dance in any number of styles, play an instrument or sing, either as a soloist or with others.
