Event Details
This monthly creative writing group is a welcoming, supportive space to focus on your own creativity and get into the habit of writing regularly. Led by bestselling author and experienced writing teacher Jo Middleton, each two-hour session offers a mix of guided writing exercises, playful prompts and time to write, think and explore ideas without pressure or expectation.
The sessions are designed to be fun, practical and encouraging, with clear guidance and plenty of room to follow your curiosity. Whether you’re brand new to writing, returning after a long break, or already working on something of your own, you’ll leave each session with fresh words on the page and a renewed sense of confidence. No prior experience is needed – just a willingness to give it a go and see what turns up.

About Jo
Jo Middleton is a bestselling author and creative writing teacher. She is the author of Playgroup and Prosecco and the comedy-crime novels Happy Bloody Christmas and Not Another Bloody Christmas, and is currently working on her fourth book. Jo has extensive experience teaching creative writing through workshops and courses, and is known for her warm, playful, practical approach and her ability to help writers feel confident, capable and excited about their work.
