Burnham in Cloth, Paper & Stitch

Hosted by the Princess Theatre and Arts Centre, and led by local textile artist, Ronnie Broadley, the Contemporary Creative Textiles group have been immersing themselves in a project that explores and celebrates the unique character of our local area. Taking inspiration from the architecture, high street and surrounding landscape, the group has been working with print and needle felting, as well as collaging paper and fabrics embellished with hand stitching to create their ideas and impressions of where we live. The culmination of this creative journey is a vibrant and visually engaging exhibition that captures the spirit and diversity of our community. Members of the public are invited to view the creative work at The Princess Theatre’s Pizey Room
